divide the contents into sub-sections (band interviews, exclusives etc)
could be 2/3 pages
largest image should be cover star
got to have the same house style/colour scheme
same logo and similar font
page number (6+)
not all contents on contents page
weekly - 60 pages/monthly 180 pages
allow for adverts

design to A3 landscape
300dpiigb
use photoshop for editing and graphics
use publisher for text
drop capital
pull quote (large quote used to break up paragraphs)
has to have columns of text (6-12 words per line)
paragraphs
only need the beginning of article (post full article on blog)
borders and margins
page 80-100 for main

Original Photographs

I like this photo because it shows how the model is the centre of attention, the only thing I don't like is that I think the model shouldn't be at a lower angle than the camera because it could be perceived as the model is below the audience.

This image is good however the fact that the model is looking away from the camera causes the audience to possibly be distracted. 

This image would be good if the back drop filled the whole photograph and if it wasn't creased,

This is one of my favourite images because the model is looking at the camera and facing inwards which will be good for my double page spread.

I like this image but the model's feet aren't in the frame which is annoying because it could be a good otherwise.

I like this image because it makes the model look like other artists in the industry.

I really like this image and I think it would make a good photo for my contents page.

I am planning on using this for my front cover because I think it would be perfect as the model is looking straight into the camera, drawing the attention to the eyes.
